The Soil Of Their Native Land Is Dear To All The Hearts Of Mankind
We were destined to adore and cherish the country we were born in even before we were even conceived. In either happy or terrible memories. No one could have imagined what we have gone through in this life. Looking back, nobody, not even you, would have predicted that you could rise up again, stronger than ever. This Pearl Dagondong and this is my blog is about "The Soil Of Their Native Land Is Dear To All The Hearts Of Mankind".
When I was younger, I can still recall pleading with my parents to take a trip to Maras Beach. Together with my cousins, we were in one of our favorite vacation spots, giggling and chasing each other around like there was no tomorrow.
The Stop Over Café. Together with my high school pals, it was one of our favorite places. We used to hang out there virtually every week. Let out our school-related angst or simply plainly enjoy one other's company. I managed to endure the stress of school because of them.
The Plaza Sindangan. Back then, it seemed so straightforward and vibrant all at once. We would go there at night and have a small picnic for ourselves and were just so pleased. Such priceless moments. But at this point, it all was just memory.
All those moments will soon be nothing more than memories from the past, that's the hard truth. But every time we get the chance to return to those places, all those memories will start to flood our thoughts. And it is lovely. Nothing lasts forever, so we must appreciate it while we still have it. Keep loving and express appreciation.
